Bmore See More is a Baltimore-based non profit organization empowering minority male students in Baltimore City through education, mentorship, and travel.

Although this organization is newly established, its founder Brian K. Oliver wanted to ensure it’s mission and branding made a great first impression on supporters, corporate partners, and donors early on.

Establishing inspirational messaging and a professional and cohesive visual brand across platforms was critical in fostering the perception Bmore See More is a structured and credible organization.

The simple color palette was taken from the travel blog of its founder, Beyond Bmore, to create a connection between his personal and professional brands.

I redesigned the logo to ensure it was seamless and scalable for use beyond digital spaces, such as apparel, promotional items, and printed items. I also incorporated the map in the logo as graphic elements on other brand elements, such as business cards.

On the website, we wanted to clearly convey that this is an organization supporting young Black teenage men in Baltimore. This was executed through the use of stock photography featuring young Black men, rowhouses, and a map of Baltimore City. The plan is to replace the imagery with actual program participants once the inaugural cohort is underway.

I’m excited to continue my involvement with the development of BMore See More’s brand through various experiences in 2022.
